Let’s celebrate the end of our VUB cycling course with a special film screening!
Join us for ‘Women Don’t Cycle’, a powerful documentary followed by a Q&A session with Manon, the director! This event marks the official closing of our VUB cycling course. Everyone is warmly welcome — even if you didn’t participate in the other bike sessions.
When Manon set off on her cycling journey from Brussels to Tokyo, she brought her camera along to record inspiring women she met on her way, challenging cycling stereotypes around the world. Come and listen to their empowering stories.
This event concludes a month-long initiative led by HOST researcher Juliana Betancur Arenas and supported by GreenTeam VUB. Throughout June, we hosted a series of beginner cycling lessons, confidence-building bike rides, and bike repair workshops — all aimed at building a supportive cycling community at VUB and in Brussels.
